Description:

We are seeking a fully qualified Accountant with to work in a global technological company based in Sandyford, Dublin 18. Salary: €50,000 – €65,000 DOE

Duties of the role:

  • Month end management accounts production
  • Reconciliation and preparation of accounts (P&L and BS) in line with company group standards
  • Detailed variance analysis on monthly P&L
  • Assisting the Commercial Accountant with data analytics, identifying underlying issues, recommending and implementing change where appropriate
  • Collaboration with the Financial Shared Service Centre to ensure that all functions and controls are performing as expected
  • Support to the Financial Controller and Commercial Accountant during the budget and forecast processes
  • Maintenance of accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and process improvements
  • Preparation of monthly cash-flow forecasts
  • Annual Statutory Pack for group reporting
  • Coordination of audits (external and internal) ensuring timely and accurate completion
  • Assistance with Corporation Tax returns and compliance
  • Taking on other responsibilities and projects as required

 

 

Key Requirements:

  • Fully/Newly qualified in ACCA, CIMA, ACA
  • 3 years minimum experience in a similar role
  • Experience working with accounting and payroll software e.g. Sage 50, Quickbooks, Xero etc.
