Fantastic opportunity in Dublin 15 for a qualified Finance Manager. This is a 12 Month temporary assignment with a view to permanency. You will join a renowned pharmaceutical organisation.
Key for this role is experience with Cost Accounting along with the ability to use SAP.
As Finance Manager you will partner with the site management teams to ensure effective delivery of the site objectives through provision of quality financial analysis and decision support. You will be required to support the preparation of detailed financial forecasts and plans and accurately report site financial performance against these targets. As a finance leader you will demonstrate the right behaviours and technical qualities required.
Salary – €70,000 to €75,000
Take a lead role in target setting and performance management to enable delivery of the business objectives
Proactively use information generated to challenge and influence local management.
Influence and coordinate the development of site strategic plans, budgets and forecasts.
Meet with and review KPI results with managers.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, IFRS and internal accounting policies.
Follow standardized group approach to Manufacturing variance analysis and performance reporting.
Ensure attendance at EHS training modules as defined by the site training calendar
Ensure appropriate Personal protective clothing is worn at all times as detailed in SOPs
Ensure participation in relevant EHS unplanned events and ensure accidents/incidents are reported in a timely manner as assigned by area supervisor
Complete all aspects of corporate reporting through TM1, adhering to the guidelines issued and respecting all deadlines.
Promote cost awareness and a CI culture within management team, through use and development of our finance digital dashboards.
Identify and track saving opportunities achieved through Operational and Purchasing Excellence
Ensure engagement with other operational finance teams within and outside to learn and implement best practice.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Recognised accountancy qualifications (ACA, ACCA, and CIMA) or Masters in Accounting & Finance.
A minimum of 5 years PQE in manufacturing finance.
Excellent analytical skills and numerical ability
Superb communication skills with the ability to influence and engage at all levels
Ability to problem solve
Highly Motivated with high level of proficiency in MS suite
