Description:

We are seeking a fully qualified Financial Controller for a fast expanding technology company based in Sandyford, Dublin 18. This is a permanent full time role reporting directly to the company CFO. This position would suit an ambitious professional with previous experience managing teams in a fast paced environment. Experience working within a technological company would be an advantage.

  • Managing the finance team to a high standard of work related performance
  • Managing monthly & quarterly accounts
  • Analysing the performance of company revenue streams
  • Creating, implementing and developing KPI’s
  • Risk mitigation
  • Identifying areas of development and implementing new procedures to help streamline accountancy processes
  • FX management and risk management
  • Ensuring all regulatory and compliance reporting is maintained to an excellent standard
  • Profit and cashflow forecasting
  • Budget forecasting
  • Overseeing and manging the year end audits
  • Design and implement cashflow reporting, capex reporting, working capital management
  • Reviewing and signing off on journals
  • Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations
  • Managing company deferred income, accrued income and revenue recognition protocols
  • Using the company’s newly implanted ERP system to generate optimal information
  • Performing ad-hoc accounting related projects as needed

Experience and knowledge needed:

  • A full ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualification with a minimum of 3 – 5 years post qualification experience
  • Ability to manage a team
  • A self-starter with ability to work with little supervision
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to enhance and build new relationships
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Fluent written and verbal English
