Osborne are currently seeking a highly skilled and professional Technical Manager to join a dynamic, growing and innovative agri-food company. This fantastic new role is to be on a full time basis and based in County Monaghan.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and insight to upper management
  • Report progress, including any changes made to plans and production
  • Contribute to product design and establishment of requirements
  • Delegate responsibilities and monitor the progress of projects
  • Work closely with Quality manager during all phases of the development lifecycle
  • Review all work produced by the development team
  • Ensure products produced meets company and external standards (BRC, Bord Bia, DAFM and customer requirements)


Skills & Experience:

  • Degree in food science-related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the food manufacturing
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in management
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment
  • Experience of implementing changes and process development
  • Regulatory Audit experience
  • Experience coaching, mentoring and training personnel
  • Good understanding of the BRC and Bord Bia standard
  • Good understanding of Aldi and Lidl specification
  • Outstanding leadership skills and ability to delegate responsibilities effectively
