Description:

Our client who is a multinational company based in North Dublin are currently seeking a Tender Writer to join their business on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for plan/prepare, write and submit tenders. You will enjoy and gain satisfaction from writing in a clear and articulate manner and will actively share and promote cooperation in the team.

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Scope, co-ordinate, plan/prepare, write and submit tenders and pre-qualification submissions
  • Provide technical and commercial writing skills, an example of which will include articulating ideas and technical solutions developed by others
  • Objectively review bid submissions and suggest changes/improvements
  • Assist in gaining buy-in from key stakeholders from different business areas to ensure timely input into submissions, ensuring deadlines are met
  • Co-ordinate the delivery of responses of other team members as may be required to complete a tender submission
  • Manage the editorial process including editing text produced by others
  • Ensure tenders and business proposals meet all relevant specifications and are in line with the most recent research available and best practice.
  • Actively network and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Follow formal systems and governance processes and ensure timely delivery of tasks within strict timescales

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Educated to degree level or have equivalent experience
  • Demonstrable capability of writing and preparing professional documentation or communications
  • A working knowledge and clear understanding of the business environment and how the individual support functions within a business interact to effectively deliver an overall business model
  • A clear and thorough communication style and flair both verbally and in written form
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Strong literacy and numeracy skills, with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to handle challenge and work effectively under pressure
  • Commercial Awareness
  • Advanced MS Office skills including Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • Preparation of reports/bids from within the Support Services/Facilities Management sector
  • Ability to show initiative and examples of creativity
  • Ability to work collaboratively
  • FM Technical knowledge would be an advantage
